Vintage Mixer on Etsy
I didn’t get a mixer when we got married almost ten years ago; I just never thought to register for one because I figured they were just too expensive. I’ve seen prices rise ever since and never bought one for myself. But after years of tiring hand-mixing, I decided I’m just going to get one. But I didn’t want anything fancy, no juicer, ice cream maker, meat grinder, just a...

Apples are awesome
These new baskets arrived today and I had some fun playing around with the camera and some apples. I couldn’t keep them in there for long though. As soon as the little ones saw them, they were almost gone. They really like apples! Do you like apples? What do you like to make with them? Any good recipes to share?

Porch Fix
This is what the front of our house looked like until yesterday. Those windows were pretty old when we moved in, but lately they’ve been just falling apart, literally glass panes about to fall out of their frames. Dangerous AND ugly. So my groom, the salvage artist (nice name for pack rat) found a great window second-hand and set about installing it. If we hadn’t been married...

Track This! Workbook by Papernstitch →
I’ve been waiting for something like this to come out. It’s concise and practical, hits every point without going on and on about business, just the heart of my heart for my business. What do I want to happen this year and what do I need to do to make it happen. Questions to answer, rather than fill-in-the-blank prompts you to come up with ideas you might not have thought of on your...

B H L D N is Live
Anthropologie wedding spin-off, B H L D N is live and ready for scrumptious indulgence. Enjoy browsing through some beautiful gowns and accessories, as well as photos of weddings from ages ago (under EXPLORE). You can even take a quiz to see what kind of Bride you are. Were I to marry again (and I would if he asked), I would be a “Nostalgic Romantic”. And you? Keep your eyes...

My Favorite Bins
These Multi-Purpose Bins from The Container Store have saved my life. I admit, I tend to get giddy over cool storage anyway, but these particular bins just work… everywhere. I originally bought them for my bathroom cupboard, which is very small and must house everything this family of 5 needs, from toilet paper, to toothpaste, and my hair dryer, etc. These bins line up side-by-side without...

Homophones
Me: Do you want some mac and cheese for lunch?
AJ: No Sank You--I mean Thank you. oops! hahahaha
Me: Wouldn't that be funny if there was a language just like English but everything starts with "S"?
AJ: And "L", some words could start with "L".
Me: Yes, but then how would you say "sock"?
AJ: Lock!
Me: And "lock"?
AJ: Lock!
Me: ?
AJ: We could spell them different and they'd be homophones.

Anonymous asked: Hi there,
I red quite sometime ago your opinion regarding what best to use (in a CMS contest) between WP and TXP. I just use TXP for my site [not a very expert of it] and nothing else at the moment.
My Q is: do you still recommend TXP and other platform instead?

Your works are great!

Thanks in advance
