Kelsea Slade is one of few really talented designers in my local area. Seriously, you should see the craft shows here, mostly what I call “granny crafts” or run-of-the-mill kitsch, but I met Kelsea last year because she stood out among the riff-raff. She really didn’t belong there!

I’m so excited to watch her grow her business. Her new line of leather and fabric clutches and totes are very cool and on-trend, but also clean, classy, and functional (a power combo). Her products are timeless as well because she incorporates a lot of vintage materials in her work and she uses simple but strong fabrics, for example, lining with quality denim instead of cheap muslin. Quality is key!
